SHOCK OSCAR CONTEST!

Envelope Please.  And this year’s winner is!!!???  Who will win Best Picture?  Could James Cameron leave some room for the rest of us little people, I mean come on, the two highest grossing movies of all time!  What about Precious, the emotionally gripping story that demonstrates that Hollywood, through all its glitz and glamour, does get it right sometimes. Maybe The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock? (We doubt it).  

Then there’s the actors’ or course.  We love “The Dude”, Jeff Bridges, in just about anything since his epic and unforgettable performance in The Big Lebowski.  Maybe a sleeper this year in Colin Firth or Helen Mirren?  Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

But the real question on our mind is who will be best dressed!?  We’ll be heading to a black tie affair at a friend’s house in LA, but while everyone else is getting ready, we’ll be eyes glued to E! checking out the red carpet event (the men in our lives loath Oscar day…but hey, we put up with football for half the year so they can handle one day  to see who’s hot, who’s not and which person obviously doesn’t have any friends if they were allowed to leave the house that way.

Last years’ favorites for best dressed include, Kate Winslet, always stylish and sophisticated, Ann Hathaway, Natalie Portman, Penelope Cruz and what list would be complete without Jennifer Aniston and Mrs. Pittt?  These are just a few to keep your eyes on this year, but you just never know who might SHOCK the red carpet this year!
